1/2/25 at 1344 hours, Station 66 along with multiple mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 500 block of Zeigler Road in Warrington Township for a reported structure fire. Engine 66 with our career firefighters responded immediately, arriving on scene within minutes to find a garage fire that had been reported by bystanders. Due to wind conditions and the risk for fire spread to exposures, a working fire assignment and tanker task for were requested by Command 66. Shortly thereafter a significant knock on the fire was achieved and control marked at 1424 hours. The fire was contained to the original building. Unfortunately, a family pet was lost during the fire and we extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family. There were no injuries to bystanders or emergency service personnel. Special thanks to companies 6, 9, 23, 50, 67, 68, and 84 for on scene assistance and we appreciate the response from all dispatched units. |
